First the good news (http://infotech.indiatimes.com/articleshow/2845661.cms) , iPhone is "open" for development & to make some quick buck now the bad news (http://developer.apple.com/iphone/program/), you would need Mac to run the SDK.
I guess when it comes to keep things close to the chest no one beats Apple not even M$. Let me know if you guys manage to find a way around 'coz I don't have a Mac.
