Dear Frinedz,

I have a Studio 8 CD (original) which I want to make a copy in case the CD becomes unusable. But the CD is copy protected (i.e it does not install from a copies CD). How can I make a copy of this CD for my own archival purpose.

Thanks.....

Install Nero and the image drive that comes with it.
Then create a cd image using the image drive ,then write the image on to a cd.

try installing from the image to see if it works (since itz copy protected )

use alcohol. It comes with a variety of options whiche enables you to copy a protected CD. Theres also Blindwrite which will give you exact copies of a CD.

That's right. Alcohol 120% is the best software to backup copy protected CD's. It can copy Cd's protected by SecuRom, SafeDisc, Laserlock etc..

Arey bhaiya, first you install the program "DAEMON TOOLS" which is a freeware available on the internet.Next go to its help menu by right-clicking on its icon present near the clock. There you can get answers to all your questions in the help manual.More over also find the 'copy protection used in the cd' by using another freeware "CLONY XXL".These two tools should solve your problem 99%.Don't forget to also have ALCOHOL 120 program for the above purpose 0f remaining1% success. 8) 4:52 P.M.(Replied).
Don't forget to send an e-mail to me.

Can anyone explain to me how copy protection schemes are implemented in audio CDs and Data CDs? Also, is it possible to bypass HASP hardware dongle based copy protection?
