Hi All

I have windows vista ultimat on my laptop and have BSNL broad band connection--wirless modem type wa3002g4. right now i have disabled wireless on my laptop and have connected ethernet cable from modem to the laptop. The network is showing in the system tray but when i try to connect to any website it doesnt connect. it tried using dial up option but still it does not work. I have diabled IPv6 in netwrok properties.

Please help me i have no idea what is happening.

Provide a static IP by typing 192.168.1.2 to your laptop.
Then try to ping 192.168.1.1 (IP Address of the modem)
If successful, then try to login using default UN and PW
(UN - admin, PW - admin or password)

Check your physical connections and then if possible upload the screenshot of the modem after switching it on.

***OFF TOPIC****

@Techtronic......"1080p & 720p HDRips Only".........you provide (upload) 1080p and 720p rips only...or you download 1080p and 720p only ...kindly clearify....:D

i'm using the same router but with Vista Home Premium.
configure the router for "always ON" connection & do this in the laptop.

i've put the IP for laptop as 192.168.1.6 & 192.168.1.5 for desktop.
