I want to buy mobile phone whose main purpose will be to connect to net on my laptop (besides talking and SMS, of course). Therefore, it must have GPRS and EDGE. It must have Bluetooth as it will help me connect to the lappy without cable. I plan to subscribe to BSNL unlimited GPRS plan for Rs 199 per month for unlimited usage. It shud have FM. Music Player and Camera are not mandatory. To sum it up good internet capabilities without emphasis on multimedia. The budget is around 5-6k. Which fone shud I go for?
Secondly, I have recently moved to Srinagar, J&K. Though I have applied for Dataone connection and will get it soon, I thought of changing over to unlimited GPRS from BSNL as it will give me flexibility to use net anywhere, besides being cheaper. What are ur comments?
