i was thinking of going for a credit card so was reading reviews and blogs on different cards(sbicard, hsbc, icici, citibank), they were mostly horrifying. almost all cards had more horror stories that fairy tales. i would request someone to please suggest a good card. also is deutsch bank card good? do they provide e-statement facility? also is mobile payment system better than having a credit card (m-commerce)?

You found that ICICI cards are good? Out of curiosity do you have one?

1 - Credit cards or m-commerce - It can't be compared in everything, like things are there which can be done only using credit card, so comparing them does not sound logical.

2 - Yes, every payment system had advantages and disadvantages, like paypal works best for me, for the last 5 or 6 yrs, but I see a lot of people complaining paypal sux, as you know there are already sites against paypal. Credit cards are like that. For example, some may suggest ICICI is the best, they are good etc, some may suggest never go for ICICI as they had terrible experience with them, so ask for suggestions but take a decision your own after analyzing them.

In my opinion, if you get a CC, keep track of everything, may be in written, like when you go to fill fuel for your car, note it down, when you go super market, write it down, every single and small expense, keep a note of it, and every time compare it with the Bank's online statement (as almost all major banks provide it). If you find something going wrong, contact the Bank / concerned authority immediately, without any slight delay. If you are not at all satisfied, opt out without much delay. Never wait too long for resolving any issues.

I think infra use ICICI credit card ? May be you can ask him about it.

At present, I am not eligible for one. But my father is having one for around 3-4 years. It was claimed lifelong free at time of filling the form and it is absolutely free actually as well.
