yes it does
the number of ram slots that are there on ur mobo decides the max amt of ram
usually they calculate using 1gb ram chips ... so if u have 4 ram slots. .. it supports max 4gb ram

AMD slashed the prices of the AMD 3500+ processor recently and plus its socket 939 which makes it a good buy. And yeah the max RAM does depend on the no of slots on ur mobo.

Its available but the prices are still high at this time.should be around 18k .Max ram suport is registered ECC pc 3200 ram .can use the pc 3500 ram which is unofficial. with a 64 bit processor you can beat the 4 gb barrier .
