p4 -- 2k
SD RAM - 400-700 rs (depending on the demand)
Logitech mouse+keyboard - rs 300

these days sempron can beat P4, and the former is at 1.6K. So P4 ka cost goes even more down.
Its the reason I am thinking of not selling my own PC, similarly config like his(both dvd writer and combo even with me), same 2.66 p4 processor, etc. And one main thing: this is not a good download rig. P4 also consumes quite a lot of power. This rig is a waste(so is mine) once you buy a new system, and it will be useful only as a secondary PC.

How old is the Board ? I am intrested in it if it has a PCIe 16x slot. (I currently have Intel 915GLVG Desktop board that lacks a PCIe slot. The rest of the system is just like yours. So I am intrested in the Mobo)
