Ethernet controller problem

hi guys,
I have a D-link wireless card. the problem is that its ethernet controller driver cant be installed properly.even after installing the software provided in the cd,the ethernet controller is marked with the yellow question mark in the device manager.
tell me wat to do....

If your windows is legal

Right click on the device (the question mark), select update driver, select the option to connect to the net and search for the driver.

Else, Use Sisoft Sandra Lite to probe your card. After noting down the make and model number visit the vendor's site and download the latest drivers

I've already tried updating driver given alongwith the device,but nothing happens.Earlier the same driver was working right.So I dont think to download the latest drivers.

Hmmm, then try this. Uninstall the hardware by right clicking on the question mark.
Shut down your system.
Change the slot
Reload the drivers from the cd
