View Full Version : Can't open a few sites while others working fine

Hello friends !

I don't know if this is the proper section to put this or not, but I think it is so. Well,since this morning,I find that a few sites which I could open in 3 of my browsers quite easily,I can't do it anymore.Even this forum was also not opening for quite sometime, but all of a sudden it did opened and I am writing this. I use the Data One home plan,and I haven't done any tweaking off late as well.While I ping the sites,they are showing "Request timed out", but I know they are working.And strangely enough,for a site I can access it is showing the same,so I can't rely.
Everything was okay for me untill yesterday,I am really stratled to see it's happening so strangely since this morning.So,can anyone of you please tell me what might have went wrong with my system and what should I do to access the sites again.

well you dont know the news yet... a International Undersea Cable has been cut and hence india and other few countries are facing network downtime.

My Goodness,is that really the reason why I am failing to access some sites and others are working fine for me ? I didn't knew it.

Its not only you .. accoding to headlines today, almost 50% of indians are facing the downtime :(

what can be the reason?mmmm? may be a bluewhale sleeped on OFC ;) or a shark tried its tooth on OFC?
