Guys please help me choose a 5.1 speaker system that is cheap and best for my friend
Need it under 3 to 5 K .

The cheapest will be Inspire 5.1 for some 3.3k, nd next is T6060 for 3.6k.

cheap and best is Creative SBS 5.1
Price : 2.5K (New Delhi price)

Other speaker good brand are:
Altec Lancing and Logitech

Out of these two, I will prefer Altec Lancing

Bought it for 4950

my case was 6 months back...x540 is the best around 5k

next would be creative inspire m5300 around 3.3-3.6k...also good but dont expect to perform like x540.

Huigher the prices higher the performance ...heard the x 540 worth the price and the best ...thx for the prices guys , this has been very helpful to me

logitech z 5300 is the best 5.1 channel speaker . it costs around 9k....

you can even go for creative inspire 5.1........my frnd bought it for Rs.3200/- last year......

But the gud old X530 has best vfm @ 4.3k. Its almost as gud as X540 but low on features.

creative T6060 beats x530i anyday....personal experience man...check for urself too....T6060 even luks better than the logitech ones

Will try after geting audigy 2 value card on next month.

Eeh ??? Exactly on which point are they better ?? try swapping the rear and the front and see if u like the diff.

Plus , onboard sound sucks anyway .. Audigy is a must ..
