I have an application Shri Muhurta Pro 1.3 from Geovision Software Inc. which works fine on Win98 but when I install it on my WinXP it gives a General Protection Fault Error at KRNL386.exe at 0001:A5DE, before install starts and then install closes. The OEM does not have any solution for this and I have tried the following,
1) I have already tried the Program Compatability Wizard of XP but could not install with that in any Compatability Win95 to Win2K.
2) Checked the correctness of config.nt, autoexec.nt files in C:\Windows\System32.
There has to be some way to install this App with the help of some additional DLL file.
Any other suggestions are highly welcome
