Hi Guys,

I am planning to buy " HP Pavilion HDX ". But the problem is that in our country HDX with latest modifications i.e. (Penryn Processor and Geforce 8800 GTS) isn't available.

And because of some problem I can't wait to buy it. So I have come here for the help of you guys.

As you all know that HDX comes fitted with ATI 2600XT Graphic Card normally. So whatever version HDX I buy now I will get the ATI Graphics Card.

But today when I downloaded HDX manual from HP Website and saw that "Video Card" can be replaced.

Since I am not a technical person, so could you guys please download the above manual and see the Page 83 and tell me whether,

1) Is it really possible to upgrade the Graphic Card later i.e. to Geforce 8800 GTS ? ( I think there is also two type of system boards too which support either one of the two chip or both - Page 19 )

2) And it looks like that there are only 2 Dimm slots and the laptop in my area comes with 2gb ram with 2 dimms. So in future if I want to upgrade the laptop with 3 or 4gb of ram then I will have to take out 1gb of ram ? Or there are more than 2 dimm slots, please clear the confusion ?

3) And can the processor also be upgraded later as given in the manual ?

4) So if I upgrade the GPU,CPU, Memory, HDD, then will I be able to get them from the 3rd party other than the HP ? Because HP cost for memory, hdd, processor upgrade is too high than their normal price.

Waiting for your reply guys
Please help me out regarding this
