I am not able to write full 4.7GB of data on a DVD-R(of 4.7GB) by nero because it only seems to recognise (DVD-5)4.38GB DVDs. Increasing overburning limit also does not help as it is only till 4600 MB.
Please suggest ways of overcoming this problem in nero or suggest some other good software for it.
I'm using Nero 8.2.8.0

4.7 divided by (1.024x1.024x1.024) = 4.3772. Does that give you the clue?:)

Thats smart reasoning but the last time i wrote 4.28 GB and I could still see the empty band on the edge of the DVD of around 6-7mm which means that the DVD could actually be capable of storing 4.7 GB
So isn't that cheating like Hard disk people do.?
