Acute virus problem, please help

Hi,
I've got a virus in my PC.
On task manager, it shows 2 unidentified files in running processes, namely, fun & dc. When i end this program, it ends & comes again.

I have removed their startup entries from msconfig, but then also they start on startup. I have 2 antivirus programs but none is detecting this virus.

These files also don't delete, advice me please what to do.

its a flash drive based virus, very common these days on Win XP. try using the trial version of ESET NOD32 Antivirus. Its a 30 days trial so you can very well use it to remove your problematic files. This antivirus's heuristics capabilities are very good for these flash drive based viruses. Try it.

Yeah I have encountered this Virus before and removed manually.. but forgot where it puts its files and reg entries...

Cud u plz refresh my memory with HijackThis Log file?? I can help you then...

Just download HijackThis from http://www.majorgeeks.com/download3155.html and then scan and save a logfile and then post the contents of logfile here.....
