Dead pen drive

My friend gave me a pen drive saying it was not getting detected.
I tried and it dint show up.Nor is it visible in diskmanagement or device manager.
Can anything be done?She has some college data in pen drive.

check if it is getting detected in BIOS.

Sorry boss..It's gone and if it's under warranty take it to the vendor.............

if its not on warranty, open it by u'r self. mostly the problem might be the breakage of soldering joints of usb connectors. try once
