I want to buy a Panasonic PV-GS 400 camcorder, in whatever condition I get it - either first-hand or second-hand. If it is second-hand, then it should be in good working order, and I would prefer if the tape-mechanism in the camcorder is not worn out, and has a good life left in it.
Also, this particular model has a known tape transfer noise problem, so I wish to avoid any such model which has not been fixed under warranty, and is being sold second-hand.
And lastly, if I have to buy a second-hand model, I would prefer to go with a refurbished model over an outright second-hand purchase, as those units have been thoroughly checked/inspected for defects.
I am located in Mumbai.
Could someone please point me in the right direction as to where I can get this particular model?
