How do I change the default folder icon in windows? Everytime I try to change it using folder options,the default double-click action becomes find instead of open.:confused:

right click the folder whose icon you want to change-->>properties-->>customize-- >> change icon-->> select icon or browse for icon-->> Apply -->> OK

By "default folder icon",I mean changing the icon for folders all over ur system,the way u get when u apply any theme pack.

Use Tuneup Utilities, Icon Packager, Icon Tweaker or any other tweaking software and you'll be able to change most of Windows icons easily.

By "default folder icon",I mean changing the icon for folders all over ur system,the way u get when u apply any theme pack.
use any third party software like TuneUP or Icon packers.
