ICICI Internet Banking Query

i need to transfer money to someone's ICICI account.since i dont have a ICICI account i'll b doing that through my friend's.but the problem is he has never done anything like that before.can anyone here tell how to do that?

If you have an account with internet banking facility with any bank you can then transfer money to any bank be it ICICI or else. It will be done through NEFT facility of reserve bank of india.

earlier ICICI bank use to show the name of the account holder who's account you are adding - but now strangely they don't do it any more.

make sure that you got the account number correct while transferring amount to another person. like you may want to transfer a small amount and check if the other person has received the amount.

one my brother transferred to someone else's account thinking it is mine..
