Hi all...after some discussions on these forums, I thought of organising a Tekken Tournament for all Bangaloreans or anyone else who is going to be in Bangalore during first week of January.
Here are the details:
Game - Tekken 5.0 on PS2
Tentative date -> 5th or 6th January
Rules:
Standard Ozhadou rules...3 rounds, 60 seconds, Vs mode matches...best of 3 decides winner of each tier.
Shoulder buttons will be allowed in this tournament, which goes against Ozhadou standard rules because a lot of ppl I know are dependent on these...if we get response that these should be disallowed to be more in keeping with international rules, this will be done.
Tier matches will be decided by entering players names on chits and picking them out randomly.
Entry Fee - Rs 100 ... winner of the Tournament gets 65% of the total fees paid in. First runner up gets 25%, 2nd runner up gets 10% (Fees can also be negotiated to be higher or lower depending on response...percentage distribution is not!)
Other information:
BRING YOUR OWN CONTROLLERS!! I have 1 or 2 extra controllers around the house but I cannot guarantee they will be in good quality. If you dont get your own controller and lose, that is your fault!!
If anyone has a PS2 console and they would like to bring it, I would really appreciate it! I only have 1 console, so running a full tournament will be a bit hard.
Tournament will be organised at no. 279/288 Amarjyoti Layout, Domlur, Inner Ring Road, Bangalore -71 (Landmark - Pizza Hut, Inner Ring Road...opposite to KGA & Dell Office)

PS: PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL MATCHES HELD AT THIS TOURNAMENT WILL BE RECORDED ON VIDEO AND UPLOADED TO YOUTUBE! IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THIS, THEN I AM SORRY, BUT THIS IS A VERY IMPORTANT ASPECT OF THIS TOURNAMENT!
