FIRST OF ALL I M SORRY IF THIS IS OLD NEWS,IGNORE IT. I JUST CAME TO KNOW, AND TOUCHED FIRST TIME IT IN SURAT. -officially

Ipod Touch is officially available in India, is exact look of iPhone except the telephone feature.
It is available in Chroma Electronic MegaStore, surat. so should be availabe at other cities' branches too.

As an ipod it is awesome,
touchscreen is good, but smal for my fingers.

yes it is available and have used it for a good time and concluded that as an ipod too it is only worth buying if u already have a very strong wi-fi connection at ur home/work/institute else its pretty much waste
