what is risk factor with Gtalk?

hi Guys,
as earlier i was cheat by yahoo messenger ..some hacker stole my account details while chatting and it was a great headache for me..

so here i want to know is there some risk factor with Gtalk also if yes how can we save us.as currently i am using kaspersky internet security and keep it update daily.rest is there some more precaution should i take while chatting over gatlk or yahoo??

Pls suggest me.

Gtalk is the best in security i think
Yahoo is good but you need to be careful as hackers usually hack yahoo!

AND : never discuss your password while chatting :)

cant say abt gtalk coz many time my avast antivisus has closed my gtlk coz some virus/worm was tryin to enter my computer tru it!

hmm..i also think Gtalk is more secure..but pls let me know is there also chance to get hacked if yes how can we protect yourself..

and what is more secure chat from Gtalk software or from web chat?

looking for more advise.

Yahoo msngr is more prone to threats as compared to GTalk

hi guys right now i am using miranda for chatting but it doesnt support gtalk so i want if their is any other freeware client which has icq msn yahoo and gtalk

actually it was happen long back and after that i mostly ignore chat over YM.so i don't have record.pls share some suggest about Gtalk security or about risk factor..
