Iam not sure if this is the right category for this thread.. but anyways, i cant shutdown or standby my pc..when i select start-shutdown,the system restarts instead of showing me the confirmation message.. the standby option is not even present in the shutdown dialog box.. i desperately need the standby feature as i keep my PC on during the entire night.. iam using win2000.. is this a hardware defect?? i had no problems with these earlier...any help would be appreciated..thanx in advance
