I have a zion 256 mb pen drive. some days ago, i took it 2 my college computers, for transfering some files. It (the pen drive) worked fine for a few days but then i found a folder named 'music' in it, which i had not made. I deleted it but it again came back. Then I formated and scanned my drive with avast antivirus but it didn't show any problems. Now, when I enter the drive by double clicking on the pen drive, an application runs for a very short while and then my av shows that there is some 'trj' in it. I've tried to format it again n again, but the problem persists. Please help me i'm in big trouble coz i need my drive badly.

^^ just use any Linux live CD and format it.

The infection isn't residing on your pen-drive. Its your PC which's infecting anything you plug in to it. So, look at the right place :)

scan your PC in safe mode/via live A/V
format Pen Drive via some live distro.

There are place which service Pen Drives? What did they do? Im jus curious cause I never knew that there were replaceable parts in a pen drive.

But I would also check your system first. But other than that you can use the HP Formatting tool to download a tool which can be used to format Pen Drives also. I used this to format my USB stick to use to Boot NimbleX.
