I have heard that there s no need to install Graphics driver for Intel onboard based system in case of LINUX. I am going to install UBUNTU 7.10 on one of my friend's system having 945G MOBO.Now my question is do i have to install any addtional graphics driver to enable the compiz-fusion or i can be enabled just after fresh UBUNTU install ?

Intel onboard gfx cards are among the best supported on linux.
You wont have to install any drivers to get things going.

is the mobo 946gzis with onboard GMA3000 graphics?I have the same one and it is blacklisted due to lack of driver support,so can't run compiz fusion.
