DVD Rom problem???

I have purchased a new DVD Rom just 1 month agothe problem is whenever i put a dvd or cd it starts making a noise as if a mixer is spinning....Can anyone tell me what is the exact problem:confused:

U have it in warranty just take it to the service centre

Did you connected manually or your vendor connected ? also verify if the noice with every cd or dvd ? or if any scratched or disturbed mostly used DVD, so try keeping a new cd ot dvd just written which has no scratches,also lastly exchange your bus cables and power supplies if problem still persists because the pins may disturbed i think

Every cd or dvd i put in sound is coming.... i think DVD Rom need to be replaced;)

Hey i think he is speaking of the usual noise of a rom. Usually rom drives do make some amount of sound especially when the media is being accessed. So i think there is nothing to worry about.

No i dont think so its normal noise bcouz the noise sounds loudly as if a mixer is on... :(
