View Full Version : Sabayon Linux, which version?
I am downloading Sabayon Linux 3.4F DVD. Is that a beta release ? When they release 3.4, I will be able to update via net and make it latest ?
Or 3.4 F = 3.4 Final ?
Confused, please clarify ...
Also, anyone using that rt now ? Is that a good distro ?

^^^ F is the revision version :) .. im using it ;)
look for info here (http://www.sabayonlinux.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=60&t=10130)
BTW I use it as live DVD and works like a charm ;) . only Wifi is not working and thats a problem with a driver, so I am using wired lan.
my personal experience 32 bit version doesnot work well with 64bit processors.. and you also have to turn on visulization in the BIOS, else there is lots of problems while booting..
OK, so its stable release, can use it rt ?

@din:use wget while downloading huge datas like distros etc.
it saves data when interrupted also.d4x and gwget(gui) although exists.
I uses as below:
:~$wget -c http://download.org/dadadaa.iso
where "c" is for continuation.for more details read "man wget" or "info wget" :)
