I have win 2000 sp4 installed on C drive ..I had installed Vista on E drive ...
I want to remove it . How can I remove it and restore MBR so that win 2000sp4 boots normally..

boot with ur win 2000 CD....during installtion delete E:/ drive...and than recreate it.
And than again install win 2000 on c:/ drive

^^ yar above method i already know ..i dont want to install win 2000 again...ok tell me how to change the boot sequence so that comp always boot win 2000 not VISTA

Boot your computer in to Windows 2000.
Ensure you have the Vista DVD in the DVD drive.
Go to “Start” and “Run”. Type in “e:\boot\bootsect.exe /nt52 ALL /force” (without quotes, plus replace d: with the drive letter of your Vista DVD).
Restart the computer, and you will notice the boot selection menu is gone.
Format the partition/drive where you had Vista installed.
Remove two files (Boot.BAK & Bootsect.BAK) on your XP root folder
