Grub bootloader problem.Help me its urgent

i installed ubuntu 7.10 64 bit version and i was dual booting with my xp installtion.i deleted the ubuntu partitions today to remove ubuntu and when i restarted i am getting the error Grub loading failed error 17.i am unable to boot into xp also.:D

help me to cure this problem plz.:( :( :( :(

Put your windows XP CD in, boot into recovery mode, and use FIXMBR. It'll overwrite the MBR and allow you to boot from windows, but will screw up anything else you were using grub for.
