when i double click on D drive, the 'open with' dialog box open
and to open it i have to right click on drive and click on explore to open that drive

Scan the D: with antivirus or
copy d: data to some other drive and format it .....this may solve the problem:)

Explore D drive and del autorun.inf in that drive..
It may be hidden..
Or run CMD and type "del f:\autorun.inf"

and remember to turn off system restore before you delete it.

try this it will work
erase aurorun.inf /f /a -r
and restart your computer
try it will all drive that have this problem

Hi All,
I am fasing the same issue. I red some troubleshooting artical from google and did. But it rose new issue.
Troubleshoot i did
Go to tools> folder option> file type > Select drive option > clicked on advance and choose find > ok
Now whenever i click on a drive It opens search option.
Suggest what to do?

dont worry bro!
its windows fault!
can be solved easily
open regedit from run
open HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT and then got to directory
delete ALL the entries inside directory on LEFT side
except backgroung, shell, shellx, default icon
restart

disable "hide protected OS files" from the folder options
delete all the "autorun.ini/autorun.inf" from the drive roots
restart your PC if they are again created the probably your PC is infected with virus

start-->>run-->>type this command and press enter
regsvr32 /i shell32.dll
Restart system.Should solve problem.
