3.5 " Casing HDD problem..

today i bought techcom 3.5" SATA HDD external casing for my 3.5 " SATA HDD( connected into my P4 desktop PC).. i have conected the cord from the casing into SATA HDD and then others cables.. HDD was detected but it is not showing in My Computer.. Device manager shows "USB mass storage" device... plz help>..

goto computer managment > disc managment > and create a partition. this should fix the problem
