Hey guyz, I have newly bought a compaq pre.6425 laptop, After all installation i found one big problem that, laptop doesnt automatically turn off its speakers when i connect headphones to it, how can i do that so ?

please send immediate solution....i am waiting.

If your Laptop support this feature, there may be a short circuit in your headphone PIN or its not connected properly. Try another headphone.

This is a hardware problem and you will have to get your laptop serviced.
I have seen the same problem in three other compaq laptops. Have got one of them serviced... but left the remaining two...

I don't know if there is a problem with the entire lot or something deliberate on company's side...!!
