Well... I don't know what or which to blame !!
I recently installed my Win XP !!
It's like somethings gone bad or something... well when i try to install or uninstall programs they won't happen
And then i would have to Manually start the "windows installer"
Same goes for my "Ipod" i will need to start the service... manually... or else my itunes says "software not properly installed"
What could have happened ?
I mean the Services are by default in "Manual"... but why won't it initialize when i install or uninstall programs and software
Help... please
Should i repair my win XP ?

Well I found my problem... just posting so that you all might be aware!!
apparently i had disabled the service "DCOM Server Process Launcher"
Which resulted in my *Windows installer not working
*Ipod not getting detected
*word document not opening properly
* And mp3 not opening in winamp automatically
Everything well now...
