Yesterday i connected my computer to my Home TV to watch a movie... And later on when i connected back to my normal monitor, every thing was fine till the windows xp loading screen, The problem started during login screen... nothing appears in my monitor n my monitor power light starts blinking as if it was shuted down...
Everything works fine in safe mode... I noted something like 'vga mode' in the advanced OS selection screen. when i entered in vga mode, every thing was fine except resolution... when i tried changing the resolution from 800 x 600 to 1024 x 768 the same problem started...
nothing appears in my monitor n my monitor power light starts blinking as if it was shuted down...

wat is the problem??? Something with display settings.... how to reset the display settings???

Additional info:

- I am using 2 os XP pro & Vista(in vista everything goes fine...)
- When the problem starts, only there is no display but other things works fine. i can enter into user a/c by pressing enter, i hear login sound...

It seems you are having a problem in your Graphics Card if you are using an External Graphics Card try to reinstall its drivers.

If you are not using the External one then try to reinstall your onboard graphics driver on your Motherboard CD provided to you.

@ almighty, anand1 : Thanks for your early response...

I downloaded the latest driver from nvidia site... Installed it in safe mode... now everything works fine...

Thanks any way...
