utorent potimal settings

hello guyz i am using a 2mbps NU plan.
my actual DL speeds are 1740kbps or 217kBps
my acual UL speed 210 kbps or 26kBps.
what speeds shud i set so that i get maximum DL speed?
currently Ul-20kBps
DL-0KBps(unlimited).
please reply.

Your settings are just fine, you'll leech at the highest possible speed of the Torrent Swarm.

20 KBps upload is just fine, on public trackers. On private trackers however, to maintain your ratios, keep it as fast as possible. But 20 is comfortable enough if you leave it seeding for a long time .. I survive on 256 kbps download and 64 kbps upload :p

how wud be 6kBps?
some say we shud keep the DL speed 90& of the theoretical DL speed.
like i have 256kBps DL theoretically.so my DL speed sud be 230kBps.
how,s that?

Keeping it low will help you surf while downloading better but if your aim is to leech at the fastest rate possible, I don't see a reason why you should not set it to UL.
