Multiplayer Issue

Hey folks,
shud i have 2 forget online gaming if i have a proxy server behind a firewall.....im dead trying for msn gaming zone...ive registered an account but zone software never starts....neither any luck for internet games in any other game...all i can do is play multiplyer in my ip with a friend in same server or go for dial-up connection....is it really all i can do or can i do anything else....thanx

u got a lan or dial up
well if u have boardband u can go for internet gaming other wise it`s useless well i`v got a 256 kbps connection still the gameplay sucks sometimes if so u need to have broad band speeds like 1mbps or somethin similar
