get yourself 1 GB RAM stick if you want to work on those applications one at a time ..if you prefer multitasking better have atleast 2 GB RAM

Mine suggestion...completely upgrade ur cabinet..(processor+motherboard+RAM)

Why I am saying this:
1)you dont have extra slots left for RAM, You cant add new RAM..so you will through old RAM.

2) Your Old motherboard support DDR1 RAM, and this RAM is costly these days. So, get new motherboard which support DDR2.DDR2 1 GB is @1400/- ....and DDR2 is faster than DDR1.

3) your current processor is not enough fast to handle you current heavy work.

3) All these upgradation will cost you between 9k-10k
you will get, C2D E4400, 1 Gb RAM, Asus or Gigabyte(intel 945 based) motherboard.
