My AMD system stopped working a month back . i tried doing everything but it wouldnot boot . so i assumed the problekm is with the motherboard and sent to asus service centre and checked it was found to be alright and the processor was faulty so i sent the processor to amd for replacement but warrenty was voided because the processor had burn marks . except the processor nothing seem to be damaged everything was working fine when i tried with other processor . my motherboard and ram where lying for a month without the processor . today i bought a 939 3500+ processor and tried booting the system but it wouldnot boot . all i got was the keyboard lights ( num lock , scroll , lock and caps lock ) blinking continously . what could be the problem ?

my system configuration
asus a8n-vm motherboard
amd athlon64 3500+ processor ( 939 socket )
512 ddr ram

Also check if your motherboard BIOS supports the new processor frequency. If not upgrade your Motherboard BIOS. You can get the latest BIOS files from ASUS's website

check the connection properly. All connection should be proper connected and at right plan.

Than comes compatible issue:check your motherboard manula for supported processor.

Also tight-up all the cable/connection inside the cabinet.
