what do you guys suggest?

My dad has already booked a LG Plasma (42") for Rs.96k.

my friends say LG has poor customer support & LG is way behind Sony (obviously:))) & Samsung in both LCD & Plasma dept.

i'm thinking of Samsung 42" (around 63k) & a Sony home theatre, or a complete Sony Solution. (Sony HT + Sony Plasma/LCD)

guys i need quick reply, coz by Monday or Wednesday, the LG noobs will send the bill:(

is getting a DVD Player better or a 5.1/7.1 DVD Music system (3k+ Watts)???

& what about Blu-ray Players? :D

reply with Details (TV model, Home theatre model # + cost...) are most Welcome :D

------------

>>btw is Plasma better than LCD, in terms of clarity?

coz i heard Plasma hasnt reached that level of development (as LCD has) yet.

whats the cost of bigger screen LCD/Plasma TV? like 60"+?

(rit now i'm in KGF:x, no shops)

PS. we're lookin for wall mount. TV.

well guys. LG is finalised.

getting it, coz it has PIP, TV Recording (like media centre pc's),... & has VGA interface too:))

good, it'll be REALLY great to race in a 42" screen :)) & also play games like Half Life 2  & CSS.

Well.. I Can't say.. But does Mac Mini have a Media Center Software? If it does, Mac Mini + Sony Bravia 32" is a much better Investment

MACs do not have any good tv tuner cards. You would be interested in some discovery here: http://www.thinkdigit.com/forum/showthread.php?t=51686
