I play gta3 on a p3 550,128mb ram,tnt2 m64 16mb ram I have all the min reqirements for the game but still frame rates drop do u guys know of any optimiation tool to increase the perfomance further if a game is being played the ram optimizer software wont work right

There is a software called GameGain. Google it and download the trial version. It might boost the performance. Atleast it did so in Doom 3 for many people.

As for GTA3 specifically, there is a mod available that would remove the random pedestrians, the garbage blowing across the city, distant planes and seagulls and other such random objects that are not integral to the gameplay. Removing them greatly improves framerates.

since u have a pentium 3. on the intel site there is something called application accelerator. try that. it really works. i cant use it cos i have a celeron now. but it worked gr8 on my old p3 system

Also try updating the Graphic card driver (althoough the graphic card may be onboard)

You can download it wesite of ur motheboard conpany.

This may improve ...

actually my gfxcard is a tnt2 m64 16mb I have the latest drivers
