Hi,

I have HP Pavilion dv6000 series laptop. It came with preinstalled windows vista home premium. I like to reinstall. So i just formated the whole harddrive. Before that i created a recovery DVD with the help of the HP recovery manager. When i try to restore the vista home premium, with the help of my revovery dics, it says some error like This recovery disc cannot be used. Any ways to recover my windows vista home premium edition.

hmm this is wrong, we pay for the os and they should at least give a cd so we can restore it later all they give is a serial key...

Get an original Vista disc from some friend or anyone and install it with your key.I think this should work.
