Hi all,
my pc configuration is
Intel D965RY MotherBoard
Intel P-D 3.2
1 GB RAM
DVD writer LiteOn

But when i try to install debian 64 bit, the system is boot but can't mount the cd rom or dvd rom drive.
i change my dvd writer with old cd rom but same error i face.
any solution ...

You didn't specify
1. Debian Version
2. System config type : 32 or 64 bit
3. What error u faced!

I suggest u take on July Digit issue which gives Fedora 7 or latest Ubuntu distroo and then try!

First of all not dedian,it is Debian GNU/Linux http://debian.org
Debian Etch will not support jmicron ide pata controller in 965 boards so will not work.but u can try debian lenny/sid.latest kernel
consider Ubuntu Feisty 2oo
