Laptop mouse died :( :( help

Hi

My laptop mouse has suddenly stopped working. it is going in weird directions.. if i take my finger to the right then it will not move at all. if i move in the left then it goes to the right and so on... just ging randomly

this is the same scenario in windows xp and ubuntu which makes me think that it is some hardware related issue

please suggest what is the problem and how it can be slved

Check this mouse on another computer to verify whether it works or its time for a new one

dude its the in built mouse.. its attached directly to the motherboard

:D :D :D :D Never heard of this inbuilt mouse. I am sure you must be talking about joystic kind of button on keyboard or Touch Pad. If this is the case then take it to service center. Nothing can be done about it.

Well i think your touch pad is pressed from right side......
Take it to Service Center. You can get help only there.

USB is the only mouse we can use on laptops. You can't use ps/2 .

if u want u can just plug in a usb mouse or if u really want just go to the service center
the service cetner sites are usually listed on asus india website
