actually my financial condition is not so good , I cannot buy a laptop or so . now I use a celeron 2nd hand computer ( 733 Mhz ) on 810e motherboard . I dont do any heavywork just some unix level C programming . but sometimes I need to read ebooks on the move or so . I am looking for a pda type of device which is very less costly .

I just want to take soem data on the go , i will not do any heavy application .

I am looking for something which is very mobile ( say its like a digital pad )and it can do :

1. doc pdf reading

yes only one job .

can anyone here suggest me anything ?

Maybe you should think of portable apps (U3 etc.) or some kind of portable desktop (like USB mandrive if you're into linux... you can even make a portable windows using PEBuilder).
if you are going to places with public computers its a good, nice, easy and a CHEAP way to move around with you're PC... only without a PC.
just a thought.
