My PC config:
Intel Pentium 4 2.60C HT
Intel D865GBF Motherboard
256 MB DDR266 RAM
NVIDIA GeForce 4 MX 440 8x

Will Half-Lfe 2 run on this config or should I wait for it to come out on the Xbox?

Dude ur kiddin right.....let me tell ya that POP:SOT dosent support MX cards......and for that matter even Deus Ex:Invisible Wars wont work on his Mx card :(

well, it ran pretty smoothly on my intel onboard graphics, which is not supported at all. The only thing where my system is better than his is RAM. i have 384. Since it ran pretty smoothly on my sys, it would work surely on his system, i guess so

@vyask.....the intel onboard is a diff issue dude but when its comes to Mx Gfx cards POP:SOT has clearly stated in its Min req that Mx cards are not supported and its true....just try running on an Mx card and tell me what ya come up with

Have a Look at its Min Req

# Operating System: Windows 98 SE/ 2000/ ME/ XP (ONLY)
# Processor: 800 MHz Pentium III or AMD Athlon
# Memory: 256 MB of RAM
# Video Card: 64 MB GeForce 3 or higher, or ATI Radeon 8500 or higher, Matrox Parhelia. (GeForce4 MX not supported)
# Sound Card: DirectX 9.0 or higher compatible sound card
# DirectX: Versions 9.0 or higher (included on game disc)
# Hard Drive Space: 1.5 GB minimum hard drive space
# CD-ROM: 16X or better (not recommended for use with CD-RWs)
# Additional Supported Peripherals: ThrustMaster FIRESTORM Dual Analog 3
# Controls: Windows-compatible keyboard and mouse

Plus i dun see Intel Onboard not supportin this card anywhere as ya said :?

The major reason behind this is that this game Requires Pixel Shader 2.0 which aint supported by Mx cards :(

what is this 3d analyzer ?

it is a tool that makes some changes to your game settings. for eg. a game does not support your graphics card, but your graphics card is way better than what the game needs. So the game will not start. there comes the use of 3d analyzer. it can change your graphics card to another (virtually) so that the game supports it and you can play the game

First of all, you should've bought an Intel original motherboard = its a piece of ****, and Geforece MX dosen't support Pixes shading, You may need to increase you ram for atlease 512, 1GB for optimum performance.

Try buying some RAM and a good Graphics cards. Half Life II may but very slow... The FPS will be very low.
