hi,

i'm usin Nokia 6233 for browsin usin Idea Gprs n the speed is shown 480kbps.
my friend usin SE750i usin Airtel connection has a speed of 115.2kbps. But his connection seems faster..y? we both use IE for browsin through our pc's..?? even i've edge support. prob with usb cable.??.or anythin else...??

You would hardly get speed more than 100kbps on GSM mobiles in day. The speed that's shown in system tray is not the actual speed . To see the actual speed go to task manger and click on networking tab or visit any site which calculates the speed of ur connection

Yup... thats ur max connection speed.. thats not actually the speed u get... even ur friend can set the max speed to be 460.8 kbps..

Generally wit BT it shws 115.2 n wit Cable, it shows 460 (sometimes it may differ). Idea GPRS is pathetic whn compared to dat of Airtel or BSNL
