First, go to Command Prompt in Windows, here type fdisk/mbr and press Enter. then come back to Windows.....
get Ranish Partition Manager, and from here u delete the Linux partitions (normally 2 partitions will be there for linux)....Linux partition types will be Swap and EXT2 (EXT3)

@swat , how do i take a backup and restore of my MBR with ranish , if it is possible ?? Plus in ranish it gives an option to instal its own boot manager if mbr is corrupted , is that any good ? or is XOSL better

No one has the right to say "stick with Linux" then what is the need of FREE Software and peoples like Richard Stallman??

If someone want to install Linux help him to install.
if he wants to uninstall Linux help him to get it uninstalled.

To uninstall Linux :
it can simply done by fdisk/mbr or if ur using Windows XP with NTFS then boot into the Repair mode and use FixMBR. (u might need the original CD to access NTFS partitions).

if u have PQmagic (any version) then u can delete the partition and can convert the freespace into a new FAT32/NTFS partition or u can resize an existing partition with the free space.

if u r computer dual boots with linux and Windows XP then boot into XP and use the Disk Manager to delete the unwanted partitions.

****** WARNING:
Never use fdisk. it will erase all the data in the hard disk.
U can also use Ranish Partition Manager.

*** and dont forget to come back into using Linux.

I think XOSL is the best boot manager.
