GTA San Andreas Application Error (URGENT)

Thanks for the earlier tips by s18000rpm now at least the game booted up after deleting the .set from my documents and also deleting the security update.But now a new error comes up as soon as I've clicked on the icon:
The instruction at "0x7c901010" referenced memory at "0x00000034".
The memory could not be read.

Click on OK to terminate the program
Click on CANCEL to debug the program

choosing CANCEL freezes the PC.Please help urgently.
My Sys:
AMD Sempron 2800+
768MB DDR 400MHz RAM
Onboard Graphics

either onboard grafix not powerful enuf
u cud try unistallin d drivers, reinstallin d latest drivers and c ing wat happens

but other games are running perfectly including FIFA 07,GTA Vice City,Age Of Empires 3
