Far cry update problem

When i tries to install patch 1.4 it say "please install patch 1.1 first."
But when i try patch 1.1 it give the messege "First install far cry then inatall patch." I already have install far cry.
please help me what i can do?:-(

Seems u have a pirated version of farcry.
If so u won't get any help here

^Not necessarily.The update problem can occur with anyone.

This usually happens when you don't have the earlier versions of Far Cry's official patches installed to the game.Far Cry had a series of patches which had come out.They start with V1.1,1.3,1.31,1.33 & finally 1.4.Only after applying all of these patches & that too in the correct sequence will you be able to finally patch it to V1.4 which seems to be the latest one.

If you miss out on anyone of these patches then the game won't get patched with the upper version.Check www.guru3d.com for all it's patch releases.If you can't find it out there try googling for them.
