monitor promlem

So here it goes.I have samsung(samtron 45bn) monitor..its around 6 years old..
sm one month ago o found it taking around 4 to 5 mins to get start..
but once it do star and running every thing is fine..brighness ,clours contrast every thing is fine..
but when ever i do leave system idle even for 2 mins.. the system getting restart..do u think my monitor is given up..?
plss do help me..

if the computer is getting restartedthen it's either Windows or Motherboard/Ram problem.....
also if u r sure that the minitor is in trouble then call samsung 32328080 and tell the model no and mention that it is out of warranty period. Service engineer will charge 450/- + part's cost ( if repalced).
