u must disable all services not useful 2 u [read d description in fornt of service name]and set d non-critical services 2 manual instead of automatic
ur hdd fre space [2nd one] is not small enuff 2 cause problem
just 4 kik, try using only d hdd dat has got d os installed and keep d other physically deatched from comp, and c if it makes any differen
yaar u din't have 2 start a diff thread again, u cud have just post in d earlier thread and people wud've replied if dey knew a soln
Clear files is Event Viewer.
it doesn't really cause performance drops, buddy
since u brought up event viewer, entrana (http://www.thinkdigit.com/forum/member.php?u=26608) u must have a look thru d event viever and c d errors and wrning events, it cud give u an idea as 2 y ur rig is acting up

4 d location of Event Viewer
Start>Settings>Control Panel>Administrative Tools>Event Viewer
as 4 ur IP address conflict
Microsoft's solution (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/308199)
or y don't u just try loging off and den logging back on 2 c if u r assigned another IP by d ISP, dat is i'm ssuming dat u r directly connected 2 d ISP's WAN usind d ADSL modem, in which case ur IP is dynamicallly assigned by d ISP
u cud also try dis out open commmand prompt and go 2 d C: drive [go 2 d root] and type in d foll
ipconfig /release
followed by
ipconfig /renew
c if u get another ip and r able 2 access d net
